In 2010, Le Parc des Expositions de Paris-Nord Villepinte will boast a new hall (36,000 sqm). On this occasion, SIAL, IN-FOOD (the exhibition for semi-processed food products, ingredients and outsourcing solutions) and IPA (the world food process exhibition) will all be held at the same time, from 17 to 21 October 2010.
The three exhibitions IPA, IN-FOOD and SIAL are held in conjunction so that the food industries can be explored from top to bottom, including processes, semi-processed foods, ingredients, and finished products, thereby demonstrating the vitality of the industry. Exhibitors and visitors alike had been asking for them to be held together for a long time. More than half of food manufacturers approve the joint exhibition, and two-thirds of IPA exhibitors and half of its visitors are in favour. Moreover, IPA will draw advantage from the date of the event being put forward to October, which is more conducive to purchasing.
Due to its global striking power thanks to its 58% international visitors and 78% international exhibitors, SIAL is a global growth engine. In 2008, IN-FOOD was held for the first time in conjunction with SIAL and clearly benefited from from SIAL's worldwide attraction.
IPA, IN-FOOD and SIAL showcase all the different stages of innovation, the food industry's main growth driver.
