88% of "Wine" visitors to SIAL stated they were interested in finding wines that offer good value for money. The Best Buy selection therefore awarded prizes to red, white and rosé wines, sparkling wines and sweet wines offering best value for money.

Since 2006, the Best Buys is a selection, for the food profession, of wines sold by exhibitors that offer particularly good value for money.
The jury takes several price categories into consideration: wines prices below €2 (ex cellar) and those within brackets of €2 to 4, €4 to 6 and €6 to 10, this last "premium" category created for SIAL 2008.
The wines, selected by an independent jury comprising well-known personalities in the world of wine, are all available for tasting at the exhibition.

The Best Buy participation is designed for exhibitors in the Wines sector only.
