Best Buy, where cost and quality converge

List of wines offering particularly good value for money

88% of SIAL Wine visitors have stated that a motivating factor is finding good value for money

  • 70% of visitors have acknowledged that a Best Buy award gives them good reason to list the prize-winning wine
  • 79% of visitors have stated they are satisfied with the quality/price ratio of Best Buy wines tasted

88% of "Wine" visitors to SIAL stated they were interested in finding wines that offer good value for money. The Best Buy selection therefore awarded prizes to red, white and rosé wines, sparkling wines and sweet wines offering best value for money.

A jury with recognised expertise (oenologists, sommeliers, buyers, importers, and journalists) tastes the wines submitted by exhibitors, which is served blind. Each member of the jury considers the wine not only on organoleptic qualities but also ex-cellar price. The wines judged to have the best quality/price ratio are selected Best Buy 2010.

Award-winning wines are placed in the limelight at the exhibition, where they can be tasted.
